The North gallery featured Puccini at the Met, celebrating the company’s long and distinguished history with the great composer’s masterpieces. New Opera at the Met: Then and Now, in the South gallery, explored the parallels between the early part of the 20th century and the seasons planned for 2023–28, each marked by extraordinary evolution and expansion of the Met repertory.
